Hawaiian 🎶が聞こえて来そう

本日のキルトはPlumeria のKさんのウォールハンギングです。ウクレレを入れて縦にも横にも飾れるようにというご依頼でした。最初に完成報告として送ってくださったのがこちら。このままテーブルランナーとして使われても食卓が楽しくなりそうですね。

Today's quilt is this long tapestry that Ms.K has completed. It was a request to put an ukulele and decorate it vertically and horizontally. This is the first photo she sent me as a completion report. I thought  if she used it as table runner, it makes dining delightful.




後日、こちらの写真も送ってくださいました。「とても可愛いので見て欲しくって。。」というメッセージが、またとても嬉しかったです❤️お部屋がパッと明るくなりますね。はなまる〜〜〜🎸🏵

She sent me this photo again with the message " It looks very pretty,  and I want you to see it."
Yes, It is very cute and the message made me happy. Very good job!!

楽しい季節がやってくる！

本日のキルトは日本から届いた完成報告、グッドタイミングで仕上がった季節ものです！Yさんは季節ものを同じ大きさで色々作ってくださっています。（例イースターのキルトはこちら）今回は色を反転させたパンプキン。子供部屋が楽しくなるようにというご依頼に答えて表情豊かなパターンにしました。アップリケもラインが綺麗に仕上がり、提案させていただいたウェーブキルトも楽しさが強調され素敵に仕上がりました。はなまる〜🎃

Today's quilt is this Halloween quilt that Ms. Y who returned Japan last year, made it and sent me these photos. What a good timing! The season you can see many Halloween goods in town, is coming. She made seasonnal quilt Easter egg quilt too before. This two color style pumpkin quilt definitly  make fun to kids room. The applique is good, and quilting line is nice and fun. Good work!
