新しい~ new things

昨日のクパティノクラスに用意したキット、ポーチ５種類。

Mana prepared these porch kits for Ekahi class yesterday.




今日のレッスンにご用意したキット、ウルのトートバッグ

This tote bag kit is for today's lesson.




こちらはサークルパターンの壁掛けのキット

and this circular pattern kit, too.



このパターン、実はお教室の壁にかかっている木彫りの壁掛けをキルトにされたいというご要望で用意させていただきました。どれも仕上がりが楽しみです。

This wood carving which is hanged on the wall of ANELA, is an original idea of this kit.




そして、Ekahiクラスの後、フラを見ていただきました。
踊っている時、手先から何かが出てるみたいだと言われました。。。。
なんだろう〜(^ ^;) 太極拳の影響？　カ.メ.ハ.メ.ハ~~~~フラ!!（笑）

After Ekahi class, Mana showed them hula "Aloha no", and was said something seemed to come out from her hand........???? having a relation with Tai-chi experience???

実物大パターン making pattern

ありがたい事にキットの依頼をたくさん頂戴し、大小あわせて１０個ほどご用意する事になりました。デザインサンプルをお見せして、OKをいただいたら今度は実物大のパターン作り。この作業も実は結構好きな行程です。

I got a lot of request of kits this week. After designing, I make a real-size pattern. I like this working process too.



本日のお教室に用意したのはこの３つ。パイナップルのクッションカバー
サンプラーズキルトの一部。ウォールハンギングはお花の色味を相談と思ったら、実際のキットをご覧になりデザインの美しさをそのままいかす選択をして下さいました。
どれも仕上がりが待ち遠しいですね。楽しんで作って下さい。

I prepared these three kits for today's lesson.
Pillow case of pineapple, a part of sampler's quilt, and wall hanging.
Ms. K was going to put some flowers on it, but she loves the design so much and doesn't put flowers on it. Enjoy quilting everyone!




クッションにとりかかったのは臨月のSさん。出産前にアップリケ終わるでしょうか？
前作のミニキルト２作品は無事完成です。良いフレームに出会えますように。

Ms. S who started to make a pillow case, is a parturient mother. I hope she is able to finish appliqué  before childbirth. These reverse color quilt she made are beautiful.

母の日に carnation ribbon lei

今日はリボンレイ講習会でした。

材料はすべてキットにしてご用意。お花を作るリボンは合計９０枚です。

Anela prepared all materials as a kit.




枚数や行程を間違えなければ、単純作業なのでおしゃべりしながら楽しく作る事が出来ます。。。

The work is simple if you don't get a wrong number of ribbon......it's so fun!




お花一つだけでストラッップにしたり、色とリボンの枚数や折り方などを変えるとブーゲンビリアになったり、クリスマスカラーでオーナメントにしても可愛いですね。

You can arrange various way, if using Christmas color, it's possible to decorate a Christmas tree.
