お教室のあり方 the way of quilt class

本日のお教室。
先月からサンプラーズキルトをスタートしたMさん。
ボーダーのアップリケが後一息というところまできました。
誰もが「可愛い！」とおっしゃる色合わせ。そんな一言も針を進める励みになり、お教室に通う意味でもあるのかと思います。

This is sampler's quilt, Ms. M almost finished appliqué.
Everybody who saw this, say "What a pretty color!!"  Those compliments become her motivation, and it is one of the point in coming to class.




最近、お教室のあり方をちょっと悩んでいました。
作り方が解ってしまえば、キットを入手して自宅で作業すれば教室に通う時間も講習費を払うも必要もありません。しかし、キルトを作りながらたわいない話をする時間もまた、お教室という場の必要性かも知れないかなと思います。お教室にいらっしゃれば他の人の作品に刺激を受け、作品作りに力も入るかと思います。
それになにより、２０年間培ってきた講師のノウハウをどんどん聞き出して有効活用していただきたいと思います。皆さんの質問にきちんとお応えできるお教室、そして楽しく時間を過ごす事が出来る場をこれからも提供して行きます。

Mana was thinking about a the way of class.
The quilt class is the place learning a quilt, of course......and the place enjoying chat with others.
If you come to class, you get stimulated from works of others,  and will be able to utilize feedback from instructor.



今月ご帰国されるSさんが、お忙しい中最後にお教室に立ち寄って下さいました。
