New ...... and newborn

本日の完成品はLehua のMさんのファーストキルトです。ふんわりと優しいイメージでアップリケもキルトもとても綺麗に仕上げていただきました。はなまる〜〜

Today's quilt〜 Ms. M finished her first quilt. Her work is very good!



そして、今日からお二人がまた新しく参加してくださいました。偶然同じ色を選ばれたお二人。お嬢さんの年齢も近く、今日は一緒に遊んでいました。これから楽しく作ってくださいね。

Two new people joined this class today, they chose same color coincidently. Because they had a near-daughter of age, the girls were able to play together.




そして今年生まれたベビーちゃん、お揃いのビブをつけてくれました。可愛い〜〜💓　いっぱい使ってね！

They are ANELA babies, and they put Hawaiian quilt bibs on. Super cute 💓

ご紹介が遅れました。。。

本日の完成品のご紹介は、ミニタペをシリーズで作ってくださっているNさんの夏のキルト。爽やかな色合わせで可愛く仕上がりました。

そしてこちらは、ウサギが大好きなお嬢さんのためにN さんが作ったバッグです。できあがったときとても嬉しそうに見せてくれたお嬢さん。やっぱりお母様の手作りは最高ですね。どちらもはなまる〜〜〜

前向きで行こう！

完成品のご紹介です。
先日CAからテキサスにお引越しされたTさんが、「季節ものを作っていると丁寧に生活しているようです」との素敵なお言葉と一緒に早速一つ完成報告を送ってくださいました。キルトラインは葉っぱとツルをイメージして、メールでお送りした物を綺麗に描いてくださいました。新居にすぐ飾っていただけますね。はなまる〜〜🎃

Ms. T who moved to Texas sent Mana this photo, she finished Halloween pumpkin quilt. She still has fight with a lot of box, but this quilt will be decorated at her new home and will heal her feeling. Good job!



そしてPlumeria のYさんのファーストキルトも完成しました。フラにもご参加くださっているYさんは今度のイベントに初参加を決めキルトもフラもとても前向きにトライしてくださっています。こちらもはなまる〜〜

This is the first quilt of Ms. Y.  She is challenging quilt and hula positively. Good job!!

小さくたって。

Keiki ANELAの子供達は今、Lilo & Stich の曲 He Mele No Lilo ですでに2回イベントに参加しているのですが、今週末行われるNapa Valley Aloha Festival にはAちゃんが初参加となります。お姉ちゃん達のPa'u は柄が大物のため、同じものを作るのはちょっと難しい。そこで、フリルをつけたKahikoスタイルにしたところ、なかなか可愛く仕上がりました。小さくても、女の子。気に入ってもらえると嬉しいなあ〜。

Mana made this kahiko style pa'u for one keiki who participate in Napa Valley Aloha Festival on this Saturday, and it is the first time for her to dance "He Mele No Lilo".

She is smaller than the other keiki, and Mana was not able to use the pattern part of the fabric, because the pattern is too big for small pa'u. She is a girly girl.......hope she likes it !

じっくりと、ゆっくりと

本日の完成品はHibicus のEさんの百合のタペストリーです。昨年から取り掛かったこちらは大物だったので、途中、季節物や小さい作品をいくつも作りながら、じっくり取り組んでくださいました。Eさんのイメージにもぴったりな優しいシックな作品になりました。大きなはなまる〜〜💠💠

Today's quilt is this wall hanging with lily pattern. Ms. E started it from last year and she made a lot of seasonal quilt while making this. Very good job!!

そしてこちらはAさんが日本にご帰国になられるお友達のために作られたジュエリートレイ。海のブルーに白い貝殻をあしらい、とても優しい作品になりました。遠く離れても海を越えて、いつまでも友情が続きますように。はなまる🌼

This is a jewelry tray that Ms. A made for her friend who will return to Japan. Friendship is forever...beyond the sea. 🐚

メモリー

本日の完成品はこちら。Yさんが以前飼っていた２匹のウサギを偲んで、名前のイニシャルも刺繍されました。想い出深いキルトになりましたね。はなまる〜🐰💐

Today's quilt is a memorial of rabbits. Ms.Y's rabbit passed away, and she wanted to make their memories on her quilting. She embroidered the initial of that name. good work!!
