久しぶりに再開した、生地屋さんは？
今週から外出禁止が少し緩和され始め、店の再開やレストランのテラス席のみオープンなど動きがあります。ANELA にとって一番心待ちにしていたのファブリックを扱っているクラフトショップの再開。オンラインでの買い物は可能であったものの、やはり、ファブリックに関しては現物の色味を確かめたいというのがあり、お店の再開を心待ちにしていました。さて、喜んで行ったお店の様子はどうだったでしょう。ぜひこちらの動画でご覧ください。

素敵なバッグ❤️
本日のキルトはPlumeriaのY さんからの完成報告２作品。
まずはコロナ前にお教室ですでに取り掛かっていらした息子さんのナップザックです。息子さんのイメージが形になりました。夏のサマーキョンプで使えるようにと作られていたのですが、それは叶わず。。。。でも自転車で出かけるときに早速使ってとてもよかったとコメントくださいました。バックサイドのキルトラインをお送りした時は、自分でかけるかなと心配していらっしゃいましたが、とても可愛く描けましたね。はなまる〜🐬
Today's quilt is two completion reports from Ms. Y.
First one is her son's knapsack that she had already started making in the lesson. She wanted to make this for her son being able to use during summer camp, but the camp was cancelled due to covid-19. However, she sent a comment that it was very useful to use it when he went out by bicycle.
When I sent her the backside quilt line, she was worried wheter she can drow the line by herself, but well done. Good job~🐬
そしてもう一つは今月末、本帰国されるお友達へのギフトとして作られたバッグ。キットをメールでお送りしてから、すぐキルトラインのご相談をいただいた、と思ったらあっという間に完成されました！😵バックサイドのキルトラインも綺麗に描けています。素敵なプレゼントになり、きっとお友達も喜ばれますね。こちらもはなまる〜🎁
And the other is a bag made as a gift for friends who will return to Japan at the end this month. After sending the kit by mail, she asked me about the quilt line after few days. She finished this super quick! but the quilt line on the back side is also beautifully drawn. This is also good job 🎁
お教室ができなくなってもう３ヶ月、まだまだ再開の見通しは立っておりませんが、こうやってメールでキットをお送りしたり、写真でラインをお見せしたりして、遠隔でも作品が仕上がって行くのは本当に嬉しいことです。Aloha❤️

自分にとっての宝物❤︎
本日のキルトはANELAの作品からHonuをTribalスタイルでデザインしたクッションカバーです。
Today's quilt is this cushion cover with tribal style Honu design, ANELA made.
クッションに仕立てるには裏布が足らない。。。。と棚を探していたら、タパ柄の布を発見！色もイメージもぴったりで大満足の作品となりました。
Since there is not enough lining cloth to make a cushion. .. .. .. When I was looking for my stock, I found a tapa pattern cloth! The color and image is perfect, and it became a very satisfying work.
今のANELAの部屋にもぴったりで、もう一つ作りたい衝動に駆られています😄
布地屋さんも再開したようなので、早速布地を買いに行きま〜す！

まるで夢のような夢だけが夢じゃない ん？
カリフォルニアらしい晴天が続き、近所にお散歩へ行くだけでも本当に気持ちがいい毎日です。
外出禁止が出されてからほぼ３ヶ月経ち、ようやくショッピングモール再開やレストランもテラス席のみオープン、アクティビティーも屋外１０人までなら集まって行うことができるようになりました。昨日、近所の公園ではヨガクラスや格闘技のレッスンなども早速行われていました。人々が待ち望んでいた時間ですね。
来週から夏休みになるので、お子さんのいるご家庭は特にこの緩和は嬉しいニュースに違いありません。
しかし同時にまた感染のリスクが高まることも改めて認識する必要があるでしょう。
３ヶ月前と今との違いは、世界中の人々が新型コロナウィルスという存在を知ったこと、そして、人類の何パーセントかがその抗体を持ったということだけ。
それ以外、何も変わっていないのです。
今しばらく気をつけていきましょうね。
It's a really nice weather every day, and feeling is good just to take a walk in the neighborhood.
After almost three months past from starting SIP, finally the shopping mall is reopened, restaurants are also reopen only on the terrace seats, and activities can be gathered up to 10 people outdoors.
Yesterday, I saw a yoga classe and a martial arts lesson were held in the park nearby. It's the time people have been waiting for.
Summer vacation will start next week, so this news should be good especially for family with children.
However, it will be necessary for us to recognize again that the risk of infection increases too.
The only difference between three months ago and now is that people all over the world knew that the new coronavirus existed, and some percentage of humankind got the antibody.
Other than that, nothing has changed.
Stay safe and healthy.

でも、1日に一人でも増えるととてもありがたい❤️と心から思う日々。
小さな目標を少しづつクリアーしていくこと。
それこそが何かを成し遂げる一歩になる。と思っています。
動画を始めたことで、今までだったら知り得ぬ方からお問い合わせをいただいたり
お褒めいただいたり。。。
特に指導者の方々から、「振り付けに感動しました。自分の教室で使わせてください」とのご依頼、指導法に悩まれていたという方からは「教室での指導方法の参考にさせてください」や、「暖かさを感じました」などと言っていただき、直接お目にかかれなくてもお役にたててよかったなと本当に思いました。
これも大切な出会いであり、同じ時を生きている人との分かち合い、ALOHAだと思っています。
また、アシスタントレアちゃんの大あくびシーンが面白かった〜と言っていただきました。可愛さだけでなく、笑いのセンスもあるアシスタントです。

幸せに思う、それ１番！
本日のキルトはPlumeria のYさんから届いた完成報告。車載用ティッシュケースとゴミ箱です。二人の息子さんが車内で便利に使えるようにというオーダーでしたが、現状、車に乗る機会がぐんと減ってしまったので、しばらく室内で使用されるそうです。
明るめのブルーとイエロー組み合わせがエンジェルトランペットのパーターンを生き生きさせています。「ハッピーな気持ちで眺めています。」と、その言葉を聞いてANELAもハッピーです！やっぱりキルトは人に癒しを与え、幸せにしますね。

Today's quilt is car accessories that Ms. Y made, and she sent this photo. Car tissue case and trash bag. The order was for her two sons to be able to use it conveniently in the car, but at the moment, it seems that they will be used indoors for a while because the chances of getting in the car have decreased significantly.
The bright blue and yellow combination brings the angel trumpet pattern to life. "These one makes me happy" she said, and her word makes me happy too! I believe quilts give people healing and make them happy. Good job!

今日は送るためのパッケージや封筒すら、ほとんどない状態で出直しかと焦りました💦
こんな状況下ではあるけれど、決して経済活動がストップしているわけではありません。倒産する企業がある反面、株価は上昇しています。何事も大切なのは状況を見極め変化に対応していくこと。波を捉えてビーチにたどり着くのは容易ではありませんね、いつの世も。
ANELAは。。。カッコよく波乗りできなくても、バタ足でも頑張って泳ぎます！Aloha ❤️

Today, I thought I couldn't send her kit because packages or envelopes were alomst gone.
Even under these circumstances, economic activity is by no means stopped. While some companies go bankrupt, stock prices are rising. What is important is to identify the situation and respond to changes. It's not easy to catch big waves and ride safely to reach the beach. No matter what time.
