夏ももうすぐ！ハワイももうすぐ？

 本日のキルトは前回お伝えしたYさんの季節のミニキルトです。バッグを仕上げられた後すぐにとりかかられ、あっという間に仕上げてくださいました。これから夏に向けてお部屋のポイントになりますね〜はなまる〜〜🐬

Today's quilt is Ms. Y's seasonal mini quilt. Immediately after finishing the bag, she started working on it and finished it in no time. It will be the point of the kid's room for the summer from now on ~ great work! ~ ~ 🐬

実は在米中から子供部屋用にと季節ごとのキルトをシリーズで作られていました。とりあえずこの夏のキルトでシリーズは完成！！そしてお持ち帰りになったキットを全て完成させていただきました。

Actually, from the time she was in the United States, she started to make a series of seasonal quilts for children's room. The series is complete with this summer's quilt! !! And she completed all the kits she brought to Japan.

ハワイに遊びに行って、新しいキットが欲しいとご連絡くださいました。ハワイは今とても多くの観光客で賑わっていますが、日本の方が来られるようになるにはもう少しかかりそうです。でもとても近い将来にお目にかかれそうで楽しみです！

She promised go to Hawaii as soon as possible and contact me to get  a new kit.  Hawaii is crowded with so many tourists now, and it will be a while before Japanese tourists come, but I look forward to seeing you in the very near future!

オンラインでも届くALOHA

  本日のキルトは日本から届いたこちらのトートバッグの完成報告です！　昨年、本帰国される際、お持ち帰りになったキットを着々と製作してくださっているYさんの作品です。

爽やかなブルーにHonu & Monstera のパターンはこれから近づく夏のお出かけにぴったりですね！はなまる〜〜

Today's quilt is this tote bag that completion report arrived from Japan!  It is the work of Ms. Y who is steadily making the kit that she brought when she returned to Japan last year.

The refreshing blue color and Honu & Monstera patterns are perfect for the upcoming summer outings! 

製作過程でのご質問対応はメッセージで行なっていますが、いよいよキルトが仕上がり、「バックの仕立て方がわかりません！」というご連絡を受け、先日オンライン通話での説明となりました。

作業工程も明確にお伝えできたし、何より直接お顔を拝見してお話ができたのは本当に嬉しかったです。インターネットさえあればどこにいても同じ時間を共有しお互いの存在を確認し合うことができる〜ALOHAの真の意味がここにあります〜この便利な世の中に改めて感謝です。

お住いの北海道は感染者数が増えている地域なので、お子さんの幼稚園も休園になるかも。。。とおっしゃっていましたが、このサマートートバックを持ってお出かけできる日を楽しみに気をつけて乗り切って欲しいなあと太平洋の小さな島から思っています。そして次の作品のご報告も楽しみにしていますね。

After she finished quilting, she asked me how to make a bag.  I had a video call with her and explain, because explanation is not easy by message. I was very glad that I could talk while watching her face.

We can share the same time ,face to face... it's ALOHA indeed.

I really appreciate this world with technology.
