鮮やかな色合い

本日のHibiscus クラスの完成品はA さんの作品２つ。お姉さまへのプレゼントとして作られたタペストリーは好みの色とイメージを伺って作られました。イメージ通りに仕上げられたので、きっと喜んでいただけますね。はなまる〜〜

Today's quilt, the first one is a plumeria tapestry which Ms. A made as a present for her older sister. She made with sister's favorite color and image. Bright color is very pretty. Good job!




そしてこちらは同じくA さんのポットラックキャリー。ちょっとクラシックなバラのパターンと落ち着いた赤がとてもマッチしてテーブルランナーや壁掛けとして使っていただいてもとても素敵です。こちらもはなまる〜〜

The second one is potluck carry with loke (rose) pattern, this red match the motif very much. This quilt is able to use as a table runner or wall hanging, too. Great!



そして、今日からパスポートケースの制作に入られます。こちらも出来上がりが楽しみです！

Her new quilt is this passport case. Mana devised the shape to make it easy to use. Enjoy making!

日の目を見ました！

本日ご紹介する完成品はIlima のYさんのタツノオトシゴのクッションカバーです。実はずっと前にキルトは終えられていたのですが、お休みされていたため、そのまま眠っていたので先日お預かりしてカバーにお仕立ていたしました。鮮やかなターコイズと真っ白がとても爽やかで、お部屋がすっきりと明るくなります。色を反転させた対のカバーもあと一息だそう。そちらの出来上がりも楽しみです。はなまる〜

Today's quilt is this cushion cover with seahorse pattern that Ms. Y finished a few years ago.  After she did it, she couldn't come the class and it has sat in the closet for a few years. Finally it was made to cushion cover and it sees the light of day.  Good job!

教会の鐘の下で

本日のキルトはLehua のEさんのリングピロー。ご自身の結婚式のために製作されました。仕上げに小さなビーズをあしらって、晴れの日にぴったりのキラキラはシャドーキルトの光沢にぴったりです。二人だけでLAの教会のベルを鳴らし思い出深いセレモニーに華を添える素敵な作品となったに違いありません。はなまる、おめでと〜💗

Today's quilt is this ring pillow which Ms. E made for her wedding ceremony. She put some beads and pearl on it, and It matched well for the sparkle of organza. It will be unforgettable quilt of the wedding ceremony for only two. Congratulations!

ちょっと大人なハロウィーン

いよいよ来週はハロウィーンですね。レッスン中もお子さんのコスチュームの話やどこにtrick or treat に出かけるかなどの話で皆さん盛り上がっています。そんな中、今日いただいた完成報告はPlumeria のYさんのキルト。かぼちゃと猫を入れて欲しいというご要望にお答えしてデザインしました。デザインしている間に現れたhidden pumpkinもキルトラインを入れてしっかり出現。グリーンとパープルの組み合わせも大人なハロウィーンで素敵ですね。はなまる🎃〜

Today's quilt is Halloween cat & pumpkin which Ms. Y finished just before Halloween. During Mana designed it, she found another pumpkin shape, it is a hidden pumpkin. Exciting!  After quilting, it appeared clearly. Can you see it? Green and purple is also beautiful. Great work!!

プレゼントが舞い降りてきますように。。

今年も２ヶ月ちょっととなり、街中Christmasグッズがあふれ出しました。サンタクロースが来なくなってから長〜い月日が経ったにも関わらず、やっぱりChristmasシーズンは心がウキウキ。幾つになってもイブの夜には夜空を駆け巡るサンタをどうしても想像してしまいます。そんなクリスマスになくてはならないストッキング。本日ご用意したのは二人のお子さんのために作られるこちらのキットです。完成が楽しみです🎄

In town is full of Christmas goods already. No matter how old are you,  Christmas season will bring joy and fun to everybody. Hanging stocking, it is an indispensable item for Christmas, is today's kit.

本日のキルトはHibiscus クラスのMさんのクッションカバーです。全面に広がったパイナップルのパターンは Sweet golden pineapple のように可愛らしい。キルトもとても丁寧で綺麗に仕上げていただきました。対で製作されているもう一つのカバーの完成も楽しみです！

Today's quilt is this cushion cover with pineapple pattern which Ms. M finished to quilt. The pineapple seems sweet like a golden pineapple in Lanai.  Great work!

思いを縫いこんで

本日Lehua の完成品はYさんのベビーキルトです。健やかに元気に育って欲しいという願いを込め、HonuとUlu でデザインしました。ご長男誕生直後から作られたので、初めての育児にたくさんの喜びと同時にご苦労された事もしっかり縫い込まれたそう。本当に想い出深い作品となりましたね。大はなまる〜〜

Today's quilt is this baby quilt that Ms. Y just finished.  She started to make it from right after her first son was born, she felt not only pleasure but also blue feelings during making. This quilt was designed with turtle and bread fruits, and wish healthy long life. It must become an unforgettable and precious quilt for both mom and son. Great job!
