ワイキキ、アラモアナの対面のお教室、そしてオンラインのレッスンはずーと継続していますが、ちょっと新しいことにチャレンジしていて、生活ペースが変わり、動画の方とインスタライブはちょこっと休止しています。
何をチャレンジしてるのかというと。。。
いつかはハワイに恩返し、とドーセントになろうと決めていました。でもパンデミックでどこもトレーニング自体行われていなかったんです。
なかなかアップデートされない状況で、待っていても仕方ないなと問い合わせを入れていたところ、5月末ごろから一気に連絡が入ってきて、急に再開されたトレーニングを受けたり、ボランティアに入ったりしています。
ドーセントはミュージアムなどのツアーガイドのボランティアのことです。
当然そこの展示物や歴史などに精通している必要があります。トレーニング期間はあるものの、やはり基本は本人のやる気と探究心、そして報酬はないので、情熱がないと良いドーセントとして継続はできません。最低でも1年は働くことを約束させられます。
今はまだ、やっと始めの一歩を踏み出したところ、実は最初のフォームの記入だけでも挫折しそうでした🤣
だいぶ錆びついた頭でいったいどこまで頑張れることやら。。。
来年には皆さんの前に立てることを目標にとりあえず挑戦してみようと思っています！
もし挫折しっちゃったら、その時はその時だと。こういうところだけ図太くなりました。😅
生活ペースが落ち着いたら、また動画投稿もインスタライブも再開したいと思っています。

I continue to offer in-person classes in Waikiki and Ala Moana, as well as online classes, but I am taking on some new challenges and my pace of life has changed.
What is the challenge?
I had decided to give back to Hawaii one day and become a Docent. However, due to the pandemic, there was no training going on anywhere.
I was waiting for an update, but I decided that waiting was not an option, so I started making inquiries, and around the end of May, I started getting calls and emails all at once.
A Docent is a volunteer tour guide who conducts tours at museums and other places.
Naturally, they need to be familiar with the exhibits and history there. Although there is a training period, there is no remuneration, so you still need to be motivated, inquisitive, and passionate to continue as a good Docent. I am made to commit to working there for at least a year.
Well, I barely made it to the starting line, in fact, I was about to fail just filling out the first form🤣.
I don't know how much more I can do with my rusty brain.
I'm going to give it a try and hope to be able to stand in front of you all next year!
If I fail, then so be it.
Once my pace of life settles down, I would like to resume posting videos on Youtube and live on instagram.
