涼しげで、思い出もいっぱい

本日のキルトは１ヶ月前にも完成報告を送ってくださった上海のSさんの作品、テーブルセンターです。偶然持っていらしたコースターが以前身につけていらしたPa'uスカートの色とマッチされていたのでその色で、そしてパターンはよく踊られた曲のイメージでというご依頼でした。直接その曲に出てくる植物というよりは、曲のテーマである家族をイメージしたUlu の葉が風にそよいでいるようなそんなデザインにしました。

Today's quilt is this table center by Ms. S.  As soon as she finishes previous quilt, started this and finished after about one month. Because she had the coaster with the color of her pa'u skirt coincidentally,  chosen blue and green.  Mana designed Ulu leaf because imaged one of song which is memorable for Ms. S.




デザインキルトやウェーブのラインは何パターンかお見せした物を参考に、特にウェーブキルトは遊び心を添えてハイビスカスの花を選んで綺麗に描いてくださいました。これからの季節、冷茶にもぴったりな作品です。はなまる〜

Ms. S chosen one from several patterns of quilting design that Mana showed. Especially, the line of hibiscus flower, was drew very well by Ms. S.  Great job!
