This month has been a month for me to think a lot about my health.
I was fine when a family member living with me tested positive, but finally the it landed on me. I have been taking the same precautions for more than 2 years, so I guess it because of my own condition. I've been working hard for the past month, not so much physically, but more like I've been working my head off. 😅😅
When your immune system is down, they will come to you. That's exactly how I felt, so please be careful everyone.
Lea is ANELA's assistant and always support me. Due to heart disease, she needs to take medication every meal every day.
It is quite natural for the body to move toward old age as long as we are alive. That is why I am so happy to be able to move my body normally today❣️.
I am grateful and happy to be able to enjoy sharing hula and quilting with those I have had the pleasure of meeting and connecting with, whether online or in person 💕.
Nowadays, it is possible to draw lines on the quilt with erasable Chaco pens, but in the past, quilting was done by eye, so it is said that quilters used the width of their fingers as a guide.
As you make more and more quilts, you will get the hang of how to take the wavy lines and width of the quilt, based on the size of the quilt itself and the balance with the pattern.
Although there are standards, experience is the only way to go. I believe that experience is the key to success in anything.
In fact, the "I tried dancing" videos on Youtube are often the assigned songs for the online private lessons.
(Waikiki Hula was not it).
The reason is obvious.
I think it's a bit different to post free lessons of it.
The same goes for in-person classes; basically, I don't teach the same songs as Youtube.
However, I have already posted some lesson videos for songs that I have taught in person many years ago + danced to many times in public.
Some of my students choose their favorite songs from Youtube videos. Some of them take lessons for catch-up lessons, and some of them learn from beginning in private.
That's why, sometimes I can't lesson on Youtube, even if someone request tutorial of "odottemita" video.
Of course, there is no problem if you apply for private lessons 🤗, but there are some who say, "I'm using this site because it's free content, and I don't intend to pay for the lessons." I hope you can use the site from various perspectives.
I will continue to do my best to enjoy hula with you as much as possible ❗️.
I sent the "hula video that can be danced while sitting down" for seniors that I told you about last time to Ms.S in Japan, and to my surprise, she replied same day "I shared it with seniors today!" What a prompt reply💕 I am so happy! I'm sure she's doing a great job at the facility with this quick action ❣️.
