キルトは◯◯を呼ぶ？

本日のLehua は新しくお二人をお迎えして賑やかにスタートしました。現在妊婦さんが３名、ANELAにはなぜか妊婦さんが多いです^^;

Today's ANELA welcomed two new member warmly. There are three pregnant ladies in this Lehua.




そして完成品は、もうすぐこの世に誕生する赤ちゃんのためのベビーキルト。男の子だそうですが、なんともキュートな作品になりました。お母様のS さんの愛情が溢れ、ハートのキルトラインがとても可愛いです。大変テンポよく仕上がり、はなまる〜〜🌺

Today's quilt is for baby boy. This is a greatest gift from loving mother. The heart shape quilting line is very cute. She finished it at a good tempo. Good work!!

またお別れだけど。。。

本日のIlima クラスでは、妊婦さん時代から参加くださったC さんの送別会をしました。一度なくなりかけたのが、今や小さいお子さん連れの賑やかなクラスとなったのも、Cさんが声をあげ取りまとめて下さったから。なかよしのNさんの手料理はまるでカフェメニューのようでとても美味しく素敵な会になりました。

Today's class, they held farewell party for Ms. C.  She joined in ANELA from when she was a pregnant, and she contributed to continue this class very much.  Ms. N prepared these foods for her.
It was awesome !!


同じメンバーからジュエリートレイと、ハンドメイドジュエリーのプレゼントというサプライズも。

Other members also had prepared surprise gifts for her, jewelry tray and handmade jewelry.



そして、たくさんのキットが今回も日本へお供いたします。こちらはその一部。日本から素敵な完成報告が届くの心待ちにしています💕a hui hou!

She brings a lot of quilting kits. Mana looks forward to hearing good news. A hui you!!

春らしく〜

本日Hibiscus クラスの完成品は、イースターのタペストリー。ウサギとエッグシェルの色を変え、よりイースターらしく仕上がりました。ウェーブキルトにちょっと趣向をこらしたいとかなり悩まれていたEさんでしたが、ハートとエッグで愛らしく仕上がりました。

Today's quilt @ Hibiscus class is Easter tapestry, Ms. E couldn't decide the quilting line for a while, but it is very cute because she decided heart shape and egg. Good work!!




そしてNさんが作られたソーイングケース。これは使い勝手が良く、お教室でも大人気の作品です。今回はピンクで可愛らしく完成。こちらも🌺まる！！

This is a sewing case that is very popular in class, because it is very handy. Pink color is pretty. Good job!



街の中はお花が満開。春が来ると心が軽やかになりますね。まだまだたくさんご依頼を頂戴しているキット作り頑張ります！

ANELAに参加してくださってる方のほとんどが、数年間のご滞在なので、キルトを始めてすぐにご帰国になる方や他の勉強に移行される方もいらっしゃいます。それでもANELAをきっかけにHawaiian Quilt の楽しさを知り、他の地でも継続してくださればとても嬉しいこと。キルトを通じて出会い、少しでもその方の人生に関われたことに感謝です！🌺◯◯〜

本日Ilima の完成品。お母様が愛用されている２段テーブルに合わせてNさんが作られました。モチーフもお母様の好きなお花カトレアです。キルトのラインでますますカトレアの愛らしさが表現できました。はなまる〜〜🌸

Today's quilt of Ilima class.  Ms. N finished two circle quilt as a gift for her mother. Mana designed cattleya flower which is her mother's favorite flower. Her beautiful quilt line accentuate loveliness of the flower. Good job!!




今日はケーキでお祝いしていただきました。大勢でBirthday songを歌っていただくのはちょっと照れくさくも、とてもありがたいことです。その上、ジュエリーメーカーであるYさんの素敵なネックレスをプレゼントに頂戴しました。思わずビーチに行きたくなるような素敵なデザイン！! 他にも色々見せていただいた石の美しさ、素敵な作品の数々に癒されました。本当にありがとうございました〜

They prepared birthday cake for Mana today.  Ms. Y who is a crystal jewelry maker gave Mana this beautiful pendant. She showed us beautiful stones and tell us about each charm of stone. Thank you very much.

島の花たち

本日の完成品はHawaii メイン４島のお花でダイニングチェアー用カバーです。
島と花の名前を刺繍してとても素敵に仕上がりました。はなまる〜🌸🌺🌼

Today's quilt.  Ms. N of Plumeria class finished these cushion cover with pattern of Hawaii island's flower. She embroidered the name of island & flower. Well done! Mana is proud of her.



次のリクエストは、息子さんのランチバッグ。息子さんのイメージの絵を見せていただきました。希望通りのキットをご用意できるよう頑張ります！

Her next order is lunch bag for her son. He has awesome image.



そして素敵なサプライズ。Birthday song まで歌っていただき、感謝感謝のANELAです！

また輪が広がります。

今月末でご帰国されるPlumeria のIさんキルト最終日。Nさんが親子ポーチを作ってプレゼントされました。Iさんにはお好きなグリーン、お嬢さんには大好きなフローズンのイメージカラーで同じティアレのデザインです。

Because Ms. I of Plumeria returns to Japan, Ms.N made two set porch for her and her daughter. Mana designed Tiare flower with green color and Frozen color.



ANELAに関わってくださったのは一年と短い間でしたが、フラのイベントには５回参加くださいました。キルトの基本もマスターされ今回もANELAのキットがお供させていただきます。踊る楽しさ、作る楽しさをこれからも継続していただけたら嬉しいです。

She joined ANELA only a year, though, she mastered basic skill of Hawaiian quilting, and she participated in hula event five times.  Mana wants her to continue hula and quilt from now on.



そしてジュエリーデザイナーであるお母様のとても素敵なペンダントを頂戴しました。感激！ありがとうございます。

This is a gorgeous pendant which her mother designed. Mahalo nut loa....


別れは素晴らしい出会いがあったから。。。また一つ輪が広がったのだと信じて。。。A Hui Hou!
