キルトショー pacific international quilt show 2015

今日、PIQSへ行ってきました。会場はかなりの人で賑わっていました。
会場に入るとすぐに人だかりになっていたのが昨日ご紹介したベストキルト。現物は写真よりもっと素敵でした。

Mana went to Pacific International Quilt Show today. A lot of quilt lovers came to Santa Clara convention center.



ANELAの作品も確認。でもショーの中ではとても地味。。。

Mana found her quilts from a lot of works.



他に出展されていたハワイアンキルトは一つだけ。ウェーブキルトのラインがANELAとはちょっと違います。

Mana found this beautiful Hawaiian quilt, too.



こちらはオリジナルのパターンではなく、Elizabeth Root さんのパターンを使ってアップリケし、マシンでキルトした作品でした。

This quilt looks Hawaiian quilt, but it is machine quilting.




他にも興味深い作品がたくさんありました。全ての作品が、それぞれの作者が想いを込め、時間をかけて作ったものだと思うと、みんなはなまる〜ですね。
たくさん刺激をもらい、ますます精進しなければ、と心した一日でした。

There are so many stimulated quilts, and all works were completed by each quilter. It is not easy to image how many hours they took.  Mana thought she has to devote herself more.
