勝負どころ shadow quilt

明日のお教室用に用意したキットはオーガンジーを使ったシャドーキルトです。
親友の結婚のお祝いにということだったので、モチーフにはハワイアンウェディングに欠かせないマイレのサークルパターン、そしてハート形のお花のアンスリウムのパターンで　”永遠に続く愛”　がテーマです。

Mana prepared these kit for E kahi class.  N-san makes this quilt as wedding gift for her best friend.
Mana chose mail and anthurium pattern and expressed "love forever"




シャドーキルトはアップリケの行程がないので、仕上がりも早く作れます。
作る人にとっては優しいキルトと言えるでしょう。。。。。しかし
パターンの裁断がそのままとなるので、カットにはいつも以上に気を使い、カット勝負のキルトといえるかもしれません。
結婚される方の幸せを願って、また制作されるお祝いの気持ちを思って大切にカットさせていただきました。

Shadow quilt is easy to make, because it does not need the appliqué.
However, it requires a high level of cutting skill, because the cutline is left.
