久しぶりに会える！

 ホノルル〜日本間の飛行機の便も増え、少しではありますが日本人観光客の姿も見かけるようになった今日この頃。もうすぐ日本も夏休みです。

先日、キルトの生徒さんが7月に遊びにいらっしゃる〜と連絡をくださいました。嬉しい❣️

そしてレフアのテーブルランナーを作りたいとご相談もいただきました。

早速３パターン程デザインをお見せして、その中から決めていただいたので、今日はもう一度バランスを調整しながら、実物大に書き起こして型紙を作りました。

久しぶりに会えるのがとっても楽しみです！

Since the number of flights between Japan and Honolulu has increased, I have seen a few Japanese tourists recently. Japanese schools will soon be on summer vacation.

The other day, a student of my quilt class informed me that she is coming to visit me in July. I am very happy.

Then she asked me if she would like to make a table runner with the Lehua flower pattern.

I designed and showed her three patterns and she chose one of them.

Today I made an actual size pattern paper while adjusting the balance.

I  am looking forward to meeting her and her family.
